UncleClockwise
Hi all, Just looking for some opinions and advice please regarding the base for our resin bound driveway. The old concrete drive has been removed and hardcore has been laid, in readiness for a permeable tarmac layer, with the resin layer topping it off. After looking at the work so far I have a few queries: Concrete edgings are not at same height on both sides (around 100mm difference where the lawn side ends) therefore creating a 'slope' towards the side of our property (rather than slightly away) Concrete edging on right (looking down drive), where it meets the property, higher than expected (only one brick below DPC level) Not sure what the two brown areas on top of the hardcore are for ? (looks like excess cement has just been spread out) I have added a few pictures which may help explain the above. Any comments would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
