Therma v high heat recharging problem

Hi I have brought a therma v heat pump a high heat version 

second hand installed it 

but have one big problem 

have had some one out to charge it with 410 gas but he could not do it properly as my model does not have a cooling function and it only took 2.4kg of gas when it needs 3.5 due to the pressure in heating mode 

it is working fine but the manual for it stated it need to go into cooling mode to recharge  it but there is no option for that have searched now for days 

many one have any ideas

Have you read the Product Installation and Training Manual?  Page 12 lists the various models including Therma V High Temp (heating only) so perhaps your model is not capable of cooling?  Page 91 says that Dip switch 4, if set on, allows both heating and cooling (off is heating only).
