Suraj
Good Afternoon. I'm new to this forum, ASHP installed November 2021, I have stumbled breakdown to breakdown. I wonder if someone can help. The ASHP is set for hot water priority, and reheats the water when the water temperature drops by 5degC. Heat lost from the water cylinder is between 0.5-1degC per hour in the loft. We use the hot water for morning shower only, I've set up a schedule for water heating at 4am, which for some reason it ignores. So I wake up at 5am (octopus cheap electricity), raise the water set point temperature to 50degC, forcing water heating, once 50degC reached, I reduce it to 40degC to stop it reheating during the day and wasting electricity. I have gone to Field Settings, I think it's 401 to select Heating instead of DHW Priority. The scheduler still fails to operate. Is there a work around and only heat the water when required instead of continuous? Advice greatly appreciated.
George
I think this video has a section on setting a DHW timer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byN0aPh_7NU
