System component advice

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a solar/battery system installed.

I've had a quote, and would appreciate some feedback on the proposed system components.

Panels:

Perlight Delta 400W black mono

Inverter:

Sofar HYD 6000

Battery:

Pylon US2000C x3

Hot water diverter:

iBoost+

Firstly, to me these brands are not amongst the first that come to mind when looking around at solar equipment. That doesn't mean they are no good, but maybe their marketing is not as consumer focused as others. e.g. MyEnergi, Tesla, SolarEdge, GiveEnergy are one's i've heard more from.

My initial concerns are:

1: How well do these integrate with each other, and a potential future EV charger to manage my power needs. e.g. Can I control what takes priority use for any surplus solar being generated Water Vs Car Vs Battery (grid charge if I have a cheap rate overnight)

2: What data is available from the inverter, water diverter, car charger, grid CT etc so that I can see what my usage is and where it is going. From what I've read the iBoost data is not available via an app or cloud service etc. Is this correct?

3: What dependency on cloud services is there. If I have loss of Internet, or a cloud service provider goes bust or stops supporting my device where do I stand.

Thanks for your input.

J
