Anthony87
Hi everyone, I'm having a wet underfloor heating system for two rooms (I'm a home owner). One is a 43m2 kitchen/dining area in an extension which will have a screed floor and the second area is a 12m2 hallway and utility room which is a suspended joist floor. The brands that have been suggested so far are: ProWarm Wunda Omnie The quote from Omnie was around £1K more expensive than the ProWarm and Wunda system. They seemed to pride themselves on being a higher end firm. For the suspended joist flooring, they costed up the Omnie FoilBoard (https://omnie.co.uk/foilboard-suspended-datasheet/) because we don't have enough room for a TorFloor2 build up. He was saying that the Omnie FoilBoards are a lot better than spreader plates and that Omnie would never sell spreaderplates because they are not as efficient. He couldn't really tell me why they are better though. Does anyone here have experience with using both Omnie FoilBoards and standard aluminium spreader plates? Many thanks, Anthony Edited September 22, 2022 by Anthony87 Added info about the suspended floor
