Query about brioboard...

Hi all,

 

I'm having UFH installed upstairs using spreader plates and was planning on having 18mm chipboard as the subfloor.

 

I've now heard about brioboard - has anyone else used these before? Obviously better than chipboard for the UFH.

 

Mine would need to sit on the joists - would this be GIFA FHB? And is this all that's needed as subfloor? 

 

Lastly, price - I've had a Google, are the boards roughly twice as much as chipboard?
