First of all, thanks for accepting me into your fold

 

I'm not a builder but a retired electronics service engineer living with my good wife in a detached 18th century farm cottage.

We have a large kitchen with electric underfloor heating under Indian peacock slate tiles and this is what I need your expert help with.

As this section of the forum is for introductions I presume I should post my problem in the "Underfloor" section so I'll try and do this.
