Just introducing myself to the group, i am a construction professional with over 26 years experience in the timber frame manufacturing sector, i have self built twice and am passionate about self-build. 

I am also a regular contributor to the Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine and one of the experts on their 'Ask the Expert' panels they run at their shows.
