  1. Hi to all I have a new build house, which took me 4 years to project manage(!!), and along the way I had to take some short cuts to save money by hiring relatively inexperienced tradesmen who I could afford. The person who installed the electric gates tried his best and did install gates that worked but not very well and were always giving problems. I now want to try to replace the electric gates myself as a project so I've been spending time looking closely at the set up: 1. Beninca Brainy 230V control unit. This has a power cable from the house and also Cat5 cables from the house. 2. Beninca swing gate arms connected to the Brainy controller. The arms can also be controlled open and close with a hand held key fob (battery operated). 3. A Leelen Video Gate Control unit on the gate post with a keypad. One keypad code opens the gate. Another code releases a lock on the side door located next to the car gate entry. This Leelen Gate Control Unit is connected with Cat5 cable wires. 4. Inside the house is a Leelen Screen connected to Cat5 cables and shows a video of the person at the gate who presses the call button and allows the person inside the house to press a button to open/close the gates. If anyone has done a similar project, I'd be glad to get your advice. Many thanks Rami
