We're in the same situation - just exchanged on a beautiful house next to an A road, the existing fence (regular timber fence) is 1.8m high and doesn't reduce the noise much so we're looking to put up an acoustic fence once we get the planning permission. Would you mind sharing recommendations for a sound engineer? Any tips for getting the planning permission approved?
