Bloody hell im worried about damp now ! Might get some larger stones to go on top of the smaller gravel

What about a sleeper or composite decking over it ? And just take a bit of gravel out

Wanting something else to replace this black gravel I have to replace every year after winter as it just looks scruffy could it be cemented ? Or any other suggestions? Thanks
