Hi am on my first project. Found this forum a few times on searches so thought I would join and ask advice We bought a 2 bed bungalow on the first day of lockdown 1 and have had a 2 bed and bath loft put in by a company who managed to do dormers and loft in 5 weeks! I have manage to do a lot of the landscaping and demolition myself. I want to try and do a lot of the rest myself except the final finishes. Projects that remain: 1. Replace very old lean to - trying to work out if I need building regs for replacing - currently demolishing it. 2. Add new lean to on other side of house - already have 6 inch concrete base so hoping to persuade building control to allow timber construction insulated lean to without footings. 3. Add small extension to back of house for en-suite to back bedroom 4. New porch 5. New windows advice gratefully accepted. Am a complete newbie to DIY.
