We are currently setting ourselves up to take the roof off our dormer and build a full first floor on a house. Sounds easy but we realise the complexities we face. This website looks like exactly the place to help two novices manage the build. We have some experience in building but this is a great resource when we need the extra advise. We hope to build a new house one day.
