  1. Yep, that makes sense to do that if we decide we are going to currently use as a garage, and upgrade should we decide to use it differently (office, games room etc) at some point in the future.
  2. Many thanks for everyones input. Before I start the build I need to decide whether to build it with a simple cavity (if only going to be used as a garage) or with insulated cavity (in case in future it gets used as an office/garden room/ games room etc). From the responses received it seems prudent to build to facilitate options in the future. Let me know what you think if I have got my thinking right or wrong?
  3. Hi folks, I'm new to this so please be gentle. Can some one explain the condition in simple terms that our the LPA put on a planning application approval for a large detached garage please. In the future if I ever wanted to use the garage in the future for a bit of extra living space (games room, sun room etc) could it be done? The condition reads: The use of the outbuilding hereby approved shall remain at all times ancillary to the dwelling at Greenaway and shall not at any time be occupied as a separate independent dwelling or used for any commercial purposes.
