Hi All, just a brief introduction of myself and a hello before I start posting, etc. I'm an architect/Joiner/chippy/construction professional and am based in London. I work in architecture and construction as a professional, with 40 years experience. I have a passion for wood and working with it, as with many other aspects of construction, but wood is my love. Otherwise, I am happy to also give help and advice based on my experience in various areas. I'm currently a third way through building a 150sqm off-grid villa in Greece, and I'm now at the stage where the foundations/super structure have been finished and the external walls (stone) are being built. I'm here primarily to find general and specialised advice as I will be making the windows, doors, internal walls and all interior furniture and elements by myself (and with the help of my friends. many who are in the industry). I know I also don't know a fair amount, so hope to have some good helpful discussions regarding building and making these things with you all. Anyway, hello, and I look forward to interacting here.
