I am trying to replace a sealed unit in. UPVC frame. It is about 95 x 55 cms. The problem is that new interior windowsills were installed after the UPVC frame and now obstruct the joint between the bottom beading and the frame where one would normally insert a tool to release the beading. The overlap is about 2 or 3mm - see picture. My question is whether it is possible to replace the sealed unit having removed only the top and two side beadings - ie leaving the bottom beading in place. Any experience or comments welcomed.
