I tried connecting the water hose with the new mechanism, but it doesn't fit... so I figured I had to install a new water hose with the proper connector. Please let me know if anyone needs additional photos. Thank you again for your help!!

Thank you for your help! I'm attaching additional photos of the flat face connection and the nut. I don't believe the new one can fit with the old one, so I figured I needed a new water hose to connect to the new one. Thanks again!

Thanks to anyone willing to take the time to read this. I'm attempting a DYI replacement, so please know I truly appreciate any guidance you may provide. Our Geberit concealed system broke down after about 12 years? and I recently received the new parts to replace it. The SIGMA mechanism seems straightforward enough to replace, but I'm having issues with connecting the Floater typ 383... The older floater has a different water hose connection, and I'm not sure which one I need for the 383? (I've attached photos for reference.) As I understand it, I need to purchase the correct water hose in order to complete the installation. But which one? Wish you all the best.
