I always jump to the default position 'closest source is generally best' ; back to rigorous hard data is best first.... . Regards

Hi Aus _Doug How has your hempcrete project progressed? At what point are you up to now? You have some great ideas on building this. I'm in sou west Vic near Geelong & would like to start a garage / with living space loft above in the next 6 months. [Design Plans almost complete] . Did you plan on using AUS grown hemp or imported? I'm torn on imported as travel miles are significant on raw material...... Also did you look at Aus made lime renders? Any thoughts on a hybrid build with some hemp blocks like the ones that key together by 'hemp block Australia' etc, plus cast hempcrete panels for main feature walls ... Regards Stephen
