Hi I wonder if anyone can help. We purchased a new build - 3 years old, December last year. Big incentive was the ASHP. Within 3 weeks of moving in a L9 fault appeared on the control unit and subsequently no H/HW.
Service records show the same problem a month before we purchased the house and an upgraded pump was fitted.
The service engineer- contracted out, sent out by Mitsubishi said that the plate needed flushing costing us £1200. It made absolutely no difference. He then came back 2 days later to fit a new flow sensor - again further cost.
the system worked for 5 days then back to the L9 fault.
he is now saying that the system was poorly fitted and needs the pipework altering - again more cost to us.
The thing is this same engineer seems to have done all the annual maintenance and no mention of a poorly fitted system on the records.
Mitsubishi customer care have been awful and of no help and are now saying that the system is out of warranty so there is nothing they can do.
Any suggestions please would be of help. We are new to ASHP and have had no H/HW for the last 6 weeks.
