  1. Great advice 👌 Thanks Iceverge, and thank you all. It’s great to know the flashing was done as expected. I will give it some time and I’m sure my OCD will subside by then.
  2. Thanks noted. It’s more lead. Not sure why it’s a different colour from the rest. I didn’t notice it at the time it was fitted so I didn’t ask the roofer.

Hi, I recently had flashband tape replaced with code 4 lead flashing on my garage roof as the old tape was allowing water in, but on completion I wasn’t anticipating the new lead flashing to track so high up the wall. Is this standard height? It looks ugly to me especially as the old flashband tape (although inferior) was previously unnoticeable (see photos). What would be the best low maintenance way to make the lead flashing more aesthetic I.e less visible on the wall? I was thinking about having it rendered over, or painted same colour as exterior wall?
