Yeah I was planning on doing that once I've decided which installer to go for, and then try and negotiate it down

I'm north west London, and got a few other quotes and all others were around the same ballpark number, so not sure I can get it any cheaper

Hi all, I'm currently looking at getting a heat pump installed. I've had a quote from British Gas for a heat pump, and wondering if anyone had any experience with the quality of their install and how close they've gotten to their estimated SCOPs? They're quote is £9k (after grant) including changing all radiators. I've also had a quote from a reputable heat geek (although not through HG directly). Their quote is £2k more (£11k) for the same heat pump and but only changing 8 radiators. Its a significant price difference, and BG also offer 2 years 0% finance which is an added bonus, along with the first year being charged 14p per kwh for all heat pump usage, assuming I move to them. Additionally, the BG quote is for a Gledhill cylinder whereas the HG quote is for a Vaillant cylinder (both 250l). Anyone know which is better? I'm sure I can get BG to get me the Vaillant cylinder. Thanks in advance!
