We were aiming for >5, (we were agreed on a 7.5acre site but it fell through). There was a few smaller sites like you described, but they tended to be on the far side of Canterbury, with varying levels of facilities. But yes they are in high demand and rarely come up unfortunately

Hi, After a year of struggling to find the right property and a purchasing falling through, we are looking at options for self build / conversions. We have equestrian requirements, so are looking for larger plots. I have a family member who has done multiple self builds, but I am hoping this forum is a, good set of advice, especially around more eco homes
