  1. Hi thanks for the response. By waste unit do you mean what this diagram refers to as 'basket'? The products on Amazon seem to come with a 'fixed base' and 'basket', which slot in to the 'fixed ring'. In my case, it looks like the 'basket' is integrated or is fixed as part of the 'fixed ring' - I don't know if any of these products would work or as you say I would be better replacing the full drain unit? I don't have much plumbing skills so was hoping I could go for a simple swap solution!
  2. Hi guys I have a shower in my house that's constantly blocked. Looking to replace the drain cover with something like the below: https://amzn.eu/d/ebEOiR0 Looking at my drain cover it is bent and needs replaced, but it also seems the odour trap (grey area) is fixed in. Not sure that this product would work? Appreciate any advice, thought I'd ask before I try and remove it with force.
  3. Hi guys, sorry first day I've been able to get some more pictures in daylight Some more views attached. The water droplets are underneath the rubber strip. This rubber strip is attached to the outside glass of the window so I feel water must be seeping in behind this. Would this effect the insulation of the window?
  4. Thanks guys, that's disappointing. Hopefully the panels can be replaced without taking the full frame out
  5. Hi All I have got new upvc windows installed in the past three months to replace wood ones. I'm not too impressed with them if I'm being honest. After inspecting every window in the house, I noticed small beads of water in between panels. There are 4 other panels in the house that have this issue, and it always seems to be on the non-fixed panel (the one that swings open). I've tried to highlight this. I am no expert but this doesn't look right to me. Has the seal failed? Should I contact the installers? Would appreciate anyone's advice
