  1. Sorry I bet this has been asked before. We have decided to remove our gas hob and replace it with an induction hob with a maximum current of 3600watts. We have a built in electric oven underneath the new hob position, the isolator for the oven is a 32Amp switch can I connect the new hob into the 32amp switch via one of these 45 Amp Dual Appliance / Cooker Outlet Plate or would I need to get an electrician to add a new supply from the consumer unit to the hob? or could a supply be taken fron the 32amp kitchen ring main to a new isolator then to the new hob??
