Groundhog

Hi we’ve just had a new kitchen from Omega ( English Rose). Happy with it apart from the pull out larder. Too heavy, doesn’t feel secure and just awkward in my opinion. I wish I’d gone for a butlers pantry type thing and am wondering if it’s possible to take out the pull out mechanism and replace with shelves, drawers and a door spice rack/storage unit. For the door unit to work the shelves have to be recessed and I’m just wondering if this is doable without costing an absolute fortune ! we currently have a 500 cm wide unit that houses the pull out mechanism. some pictures below. image one is how it looks now from the outside. image two is what I wished I’d got ( that’s obviously a 1 metre unit), so I want to convert my 500 unit to something similar. plus the company have no returns policy so I’m stuck with pull out mechanism ! Live and learn eh thank you for any opinions / advice .
