Hi all, I was hoping to get your opinions on two pictures I took yesterday of the flashing on my chimney. The reason is that I spotted a leak in my loft under the flashing area on the chimney on the back side of my roof yesterday and I used a friends camera with a good lense to get a close up of the flashing from the ground. I had the flashing done in 2019 along with other roof repairs and when I saw the picture up close it started to make me wonder if the builders actually did the flashing at all. The reason being is that in 2010, 9 years earlier than the flashing in 2019 I has the flashing done on the front of the roof, 2 feet from the new flashing. When I compared the two pictures the old 2010 flashing looked better and newer than the flashing from 2019. Does anyone else think this or is it just me?
