As my tag implies, I am a fervent believer in the importance of people knowing how to cycle safely on a bike that people have the skills to maintain. I am also a driver so I am not anti car, just more pro bike. I have a background in housing and self-build and have building qualifications, most recently studying eco-building techniques.
I am concerned that we are all expected to replace rather repair and want to resist our “stuff not skills” economy.
I think I have some interesting and relevant solutions to some of the issues that builders face and want to put them out in the world to test their validity and potential usefulness.
