  1. Hi, Its not tripped, I have checked the main fusebox and all the RCD's are up, sadly, there is no other access to the garage, the only access is via the roller shutter. Thanks.
  2. Hi, We can not access this control unit as it is behind the garage door so we can not try this, we are trying to open the garage, the only thing we have access to is this brown cable from the motor, hence the question can we cut into this to manually operate the motor. Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I did notice the transformer, the instruction's are below, according to this, 230volt ac output for 1 single phase motor (1500w max), we can not access the main control panel as it is behind the door. AR433- plus instructions - updated.pdf (auto-roll.com) 1. Mains power supply in 230volt (BROWN WIRE) 2. Neutral power supply (BLUE WIRE) 3. Earth – to be used to connect both earth wires (GREEN / YELLOW WIRE) 4. Connection to and from motor – neutral (BLUE WIRE) 5. Connection to and from motor - live 230volt (BLACK OR BROWN WIRE) – see below 6. Connection to and from motor - live 230volt (BLACK OR BROWN WIRE) – see below
  4. Hi All, Over the last couple of weeks are garage door has been randomly not opening with the remote key fob, it seems now to have given up completely, I have ordered a new pack off 3 fobs and cloned the original remote, but this has made no difference. Last time we got in, I took some pictures of the main unit, see attached, as you can see, the main control box is brown cable, this is the same cable that goes to the main motor, I know there is 4 wires, I am assume, earth, neutral and 2 lives to control up / down. Are there any issues cutting the wire from where the motor is and directly connect this 230/240V to operate the motor? Many thanks who reply's.
