  1. Was thinking of the arrangement below to continue the dpm / radon barrier that is under the interior concrete sub floor to the outside with a view to creating as much of a barrier to water ingress as possible A forward draining 3 panel sliding door rail ( shown by osb ) sits on top. Exterior ground level is the Red line / top of conctrete block. Interior level ( Green line ) is 100mm above the exterior. I was also thinking to bond an additional small dpm upstand to extend up behind the aluminium door track internally. Having a bit of a wobble about how well bonded / stable the single row of brick will be on top of the dpc. I was thinking of using a very thin layer of adhesive to bond the dpc down to the blockwork first. Would really appreciate any input on this.!
  2. Evening all. I had an inspection chamber buried inder my old extension at the back of the house that served my rear soil stack and a downstairs toilet. The pipe from this chamber runs under the house into a chamber at the front. The old extension and rear chamber have both been removed and a new extension is being built. I can't install a new chamber for the two waste pipes because it will need access and be in a prominent place . Am I correct in thinking I need to install a stub stack with air admittance valve in the corner of my downstairs WC and run a separate pipe all the way to the inspection chamber at the front? Its approx a 12m run The existing pipe will then serve the rear soil stack only. I have included a diagram. Would appreciate any advice. Regards Lee
