He's in a very old touring caravan at the moment, we're looking for a longer term but not too comfortable (!) option for him, with space for his drum kit. We are hopeful he will move out or pay rent at some point. Static was one thought, but access into the garden may be a problem. Due to the location (side of bungalow, adjacent to highway) we'd need pp for anything not classified as a caravan, which is not necessarily an issue. He eats with us, and uses our kitchen already. He will need a toilet though, as we only have one bathroom and five of us using it 😬

Thank you. No, we're not rural (for Cornwall), and no aonb or conservation area. Where we would like the extra room is on the side, adjacent to a road though. An actual extension to the bungalow is likely out of immediate budget 🤔

Hi there I'm new here. We downsized recently for health and affordability reasons and are currently exploring options for creating a long term extra room and toilet for our adult son. We have a large plot, with oodles of space at the side of the house. But, a limited budget. Keen to find out what options we have, and what might be feasible with the space, access and budget we have :)
