Hello handypeople,
My partner has a desk/dresser with a lot of sentimental value and it is generally in good nick, but a fold down mirror/desktop has broken the hinges and a bit of the wood (mainly due to its weight). I would like to be able to fix it, but not sure on a good way to go about it.
1. What's the best way to fill in the broken wood on the table (see picture below)
2. Should I stick with existing hinges and, if so, what's the best way to get the correct shape indent (should be the same as seen on the mirror top in the photo).
There could very well be a completely different solution that I am not seeing.
Many thanks,
Luke
