Thermoblock acts as a dpc, I'd lap the bottom under and the top over them. I wouldnt use concrete pavers, I'd use the 100mm thick thermoblocks instead and keep it simple, it won't be that much more cost, less to go wrong.

Well Hello! I’m Ben. I guess we could see this is day 0 on a journey to a finished ‘forever home’. We are currently in the throes of understanding our financial possibilities. We have a good chunk of equity in current home and some cash aside to work towards either a new build or conversion in our area (NE Derbyshire).
