Can anybody tell me if this calculation holds water.
Heat loss calculation of my house is 5.8Kw at -2 for 21 degrees inside.
So to raise the temperature of my house I require 252w/degree 5800 divided by temp difference 23
So if you take average outside temp - average inside temp 0-21 =21 21 x 252 = 5292w
5.3kW x 24 = 127 kWhr/day divided by the actual kWHr used, in this case 41 kWHr would this give a COP of 3.097 ?
Hi, that's interesting, I am just trying to get the heat pump to run as efficiently as possible and looking at the flow rate/heat pump on ,off and wondering if it was excessive
Can anybody tell me why my flow rate oscillates so frequently, the image is over 24 hrs. The Heat pump is controlled by a Homely, but that does not control flow rate.
Hi, I have got a 9kw LG monobloc heat pump, does anybody know the correct setting for the water pump flow control, there are three settings Pump Capacity, Optimal and Delta T, it does have a buffer tank in the system, thanks
Thanks for replying, the homely website tells you how to wire the homely up in the house and where to connect on the heat pump but does not tell you what heat pump/homely uses as a trigger/feed for the post buffer circulating pump and the 3 way valve.
