  1. Sounds exciting, we are doing the same 👍
  2. Having read some other posts on this forum, some people have stated that Catnic Urban steel sheets are expensive compared to zinc and better quality PLX? Any thoughts on this? My contractor has fitted Catnic before and is therefore familiar with it, on the other hand, zinc or PLX needs to be done by a specialist contractor due to the folding of the sheets etc off the roll. My nearest PLX approved contractor is Bristol and I live in South Wales, so nobody near to me! Any knowledge on other products will be gratefully received, thank you
  3. Just sent Catnic a query to ensure they are happy with the roof build up
  4. I’m pretty sure that no ventilation is required, using Tyvec Metal directly under the metal roof as a drainage layer, then membrane straight onto the SIP panel similar to the attached photo, but I will be adding 125mm Celotex below as well
  5. Hi everyone, I’m in the process of building our new house and just wanted to sound you out to see what you think. I am about to fix my SIPs panels onto my roof and and they are constructed using 11mm OSB 3. I propose fixing my Catnic Urban sheets using s/steel screws through the membranes into the OSB. Catnic ask for min 15mm OSB to fix into. I have consulted several different sources and they have said that it will be fine. just wondering what your thoughts are on the matter? Many thanks Nick
