  1. I would say always on but to maintain 16-17c. Currently the space is unused as its a bit cold and feels damp but ideally we would like to put a cinema area and playroom down there. Just trying to figure out the cheapest/easiest way to heat it. Air to Air units seem very popular in the states but not so much here.
  2. Hi all, I'm looking to heat the basement space of my Victorian sandstone house. It's unfinished other than some crap tanking that's flaking off. There's 3 rooms, good ceiling height and two windows. Anyway I was wondering if anybody had used an air to air heat pump as basement heating or could offer any views on whether it would be a sensible option? I was thinking about one possibly along with a heat recovery extractor at the other side of the basement.
