  1. Thanks. Seems like that might be a decent idea. It will save me bringing in less soil. I might lay turf instead of seeding. Anything to watch out when laying turf over the rotavated old turf/soil?
  2. I am installing a pagoda over a porcelin patio. Two posts will be postcreted in the lawn, and two will be mounted into the patio. I was planning to use fence post bases for the two patio mounted posts (with 4 x bolts going into the tiles/sub base).... drilling into porcelin with diamond drill bits and using chemical resin for fixings. The issue I have is that the patio has a fall. How do I get the posts plumb? I read a few articles that recommend using galvanised steel washers under the two bolts on one side to level out. Would this be the recommend method to get the base/posts vertical? Post base screenshot attached
  3. I have a sloped garden and was considering levelling it out. I have recently scarifier, aerated and overseeded the turf in preparation for next year. Would it be feasible to get a turf cutter and remove the existing turf, then bring in top soil to level out, then relay the old turf? I was planning to do this in late March.
