Hi Folks, Has anyone had any problems getting a high BER rating while using the Compact P system from Nilan? We've been told we may struggle to get a BER rating with it of we want to get a green mortgage. I'm only learning the ins and outs of BER so I may have some details incorrect here. Apparently Nilan aren't on the DEAP database/system used to calculate the BER. It is however on the HARP Database/system.?? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this? Nilan assure us it will get the Rating, but I'd like a few independent opinions. I really like the Compact P system so I really want to exhaust all options before I rule it out. Thanks Mike

We've just got planning for a scanhome in Roscommon, we'll be ordering the house in the next week or so. We found dealing with the guys in Scanhome great to be honest, and Peter their architect is great too, we made a few changes to the house design they had, Peter is more than happy to work with you on anything you'd like. There is a long lead time for them alright, but we know of a couple who got there's in 8 months, so I think the 11 -12 months is allowing for any potential delay. We've been in a few new scanhomes this last year and I have to say they're class.

Hi, Thanks for access to the group. I'm Building a Scandinavian style home in the west of Ireland next year all going well. Got planning approved last week. Still deciding on MHVR systems, Solar Etc. Mike
