  1. I need the pumice liner though, not the ceramic I need a tee cap but can find kne anywhere! Maybe I can adapt an aluminium one?
  2. Hi, Just starting to install my chimney, Isokern pumice liner. I have spoke to Isokern but no joy... Basically we have the 45° T section going into the house and upwards. But what do I do with the bit below on the T ? Does it need a plug? Surely it's not left open? I know I need a soot door to sweep/access which I've accounted for but I can't think this hole at the bottom stays open?! Ta
  3. This is what I was expecting but the surveyor is unsisting not for Velfac. He won't order with out it being on. Maybe I need to change suppliers?
  4. Hi All, Just had our window survey and they are requesting we have all the stone slips fitted before they can measure the structural opening. Getting told different things that this is or not normally the case.. Is this normal? They are Velfac windows. Need to get them on order as the weather is on the move... Any have any other suppliers in the south I could try? Thanks
  5. Cheers Conor but I'm not allowed any boards, it's a planning condition
  6. Hi All, part of our planning stipulates no barge boards Now I'm doing the roof, we have the slate/batten coming over the Nudura and it's going to leave a batten visible. Should I use a small dry verge system to finish? Mortar fails often in slate and can't see how that will protect the ends of the batten anyway. Cheers
  7. Ideally want some end caps but good idea
  8. Hi, don't suppose anyone has some spare Nudura 6" end caps I could buy? Need some extra but not a whole box worth. Cheers
  9. Starting to think about my MVHR properly now the building is heading North... Looking to self install and possibly commission, wondered on thoughts of this design and a way around it? We don't have the steel beam running by the kitchen, it's now a solid beam, but obviously I can't run duct through either, I couldn't get around this due to the spans and loads. Any suggestions? My only thoughts were as the rooms above are a bit in the roof, I could use that to take it up vertically and into the loft to the MVHR unit? Thanks
  10. ICF Central who have been very supportive throughout
  11. I've just rewatched it and it definitely says 3 and 4...but then on the video shows your setup! I take your advice. Cheers
  12. Yes no I'm not contesting your point, just relaying what I did 👍
  13. we went 3 and 4 on internal only as per nudura instructions
  14. yes, had the alignment in place but not on corners as per instructions
