Thanks for your reply George. I intend on relying on evidence from a RICS Chartered Surveyor. The other party has instructed a CABE building engineer after being instructed by the court to hire a chartered surveyor.

Good Morning, I am going through a dispute at the moment with my neighbour. We have been ordered by the court to hire a Chartered Surveyor. The other party has hired a CABE Building Engineer. What is the difference between RICS chartered surveyor and CABE building engineer? Can a CABE building engineer act as a Chartered Surveyor? Help would be very helpful. Thanks
