Hello, we are mid install with a 14kw Therma V currently just running the UFH to stop the house freezing up.
Upstairs rads and some relays for the 3 port valve needed to fully commission it.
The issue we have is with icing... there isn't a manual defrost option and I'm wondering if it's been set up correctly.
So much ice on it we can't even see the fins at the back and the fans are starting to touch the frost on the inside.
Plumber who fitted it doesn't touch the internals and the supplier won't come out until the whole system is finished.
Is there a way of running the defrost function manually? I read online that there is an electric heating option to speed defrost but I can't see the option to adjust it on the settings....
Other than a bucket if warm water I'm running out of ideas!
Are there Dip switches to turn on the defrost option?
