I'm planning to renovate a 3 bedroom Victorian terraced house and am a complete novice! I'm currently working out what it will involve and what the costs will be. I've made a rough list of approximate cost factors below. I know there will be some extra costs that will come up as we go along and have factored this in but I just wanted to know if this is the bulk of it or if there is anything else I need to think about?
One storey extension for kitchen - £18,000

A new heating system - £5,650 - £6,900

House rewire - £5,000

New windows - £3-5,000

Downstairs toilet - it’s only small and just needs replacing for now - £1000?
New bathroom - £4,000

New kitchen - £8,000
Flooring - budget of £2,000
No problems with the roof as far as I’m aware!
