  1. Good evening, my neighbour is never around to sign party wall agreement, what can I do? Is it automatically in a dispute? I wouldn't want to go down that route mainly because I just moved in and want to build a relationship with them. Let me know the best way to deal with it. Looking forward to your response.
  2. Thank you so much this is very useful ans I appreciate the time you have taken to write this information. I will review in more detail and take some of the points which will further assist with the application. I will keep you all posted on process.
  3. That's exactly what I was thinking as well 😊 ....thank you
  4. Thank you for you prompt response. I have attached the drain in question from the initial information we received when we bought the house. I will speak to the builder and see if he can assist in the meantime I will see if I can ask the local council or a drainage company like you suggested.
  5. Good afternoon all, I have submitted a build over agreement application and they have come back with the following query: Your application was missing the following: Proposed building drainage layout plan Ground floor plan showing proposed private connections onto the sewer. Where can I get my existing drainage plan information for my house? Builder said he can't start the job until this is in place. Please help :-)
  6. This very useful document thank you. Someone also referred me to the attached BS document which seems to be useful and talks alot about air gaps in cavity etc i.s.eniso6946-2017.pdf
  7. Hi all, Thank you for your prompt responses. The below spec was recommended and it's a 97mm thick. https://www.insulationshop.co/cf5097_celotex_97mm_cf500_full_fill_cavity.html It just may be easier to change the specification to a 100mm to avoid challenges with building control.
  8. Hi all, How do I calculate the 'R' value of air gap in a cavity wall? I have attached my 'R' value and 'U' value calculation. I know that the air gap should be part of the calculation but just can't find any information online to assist me. Can anyone with more experience than me please help? Many thanks in advance.
