For the dmev is there any heat recovery? Also any Brand’s recommended.

I have just bought a house built late 60s/70. Windows and doors are in good shape and reasonably sealed, but obviously it’s not to modern standards. We are looking to open up the kitchen , which means kitchen, dining room and living room will all be one area. Currently we notice that unless the windows are open the sun is making the rooms pretty warm. So if we go out it’s hot as can’t leave windows open. we have radon gas in the area, so that’s something we would like to avoid. Presently from my limited research it looks like some kind of extraction system would help move the air around and stop it being stuffy during the warm months, could also help with the radon. Ideally would like some heat recovery so we aren’t pumping heat out during the colder months. looking for ideas of what we should be looking at.
