Thanks for replying but I don’t think I made myself clear. I am building over a garage extension which will have a pitched roof. I am building above the garage about a metre in. I have to put 2 steels in to take both leaves. Do I make the steels longer which would bridge the cavity as I have to return the brickwork 90 degrees. Thanks

Hi could anyone tell me the best way to build over a a cavity. Obviously the steels sit in the inside block work and I have to return the brickwork over the cavity and on to the steels. Thanks
