Hello SIPS build. Plan detail : external cladding/strapping/barrier/OSB solid insulation OSB/strapping/void/25mm PIR foil both sides/12.5 plasterboard Looking on kingspan website as below it has the 25mm foil insulation next to OSB then strapping/plasterboard Neither setup have an internal,vapour barrier are both correct 1.& 2. do o need a vapour barrier? 🤯🤯🤯 thanks in advance

Hello Unsure how to approach this, been asked to prove existing rainwater Soakaway is suitable for build, site is an old property which has existing sewerage tank/Soakaway, Council have no issues with the septic tank and it’s Soakaway but need to *prove* existing rain/roof water Soakaway is suitable ? Anyone come across this ? Thank you.

Hello there newbuild @warrant stage. I have built before and installed ASHP/MVHR, SIP build. This time SIP build but I am struggling with the ventilation as I felt the last system was noisy and I could not sleep with it on. Is there a website? That would list MVHR by noise output 0r what else could I install. Bungalow 3 bed. Most manufacturers indicate theirs is the best but end user May be more honest. Thanks for taking time to read.

Hi does anyone have knowledge of this system? One of the fans is making an awful noise. I have contacted rega vent and as it’s 3yrs since I purchased it but not since installation /completion they are charging replacement fan and delivery. Having seen the discussion on the vent axia I wondered if the fans would be the same ? Fan is GREG9 120 fan. And May be able to try same repair. Thanks for reading. Yvonne

Jello i am within Highland Council area, can anyone advise on perculation tests, on tHC website leaflet re Planning and Building Warrant Applications Septic tank soak away systems guidance notes, step four advises to contact tHC for the approved certifier from their list.(copy attached) Would anyone know who these people/company’s are. ?
