I am happy to try resin but so far so good with the Grano although only a trial area 18" by 18" and 1/2 inch thick. Lots of fluffing about but 6 of Grano 2 of cement 1 of soft sand and 1 of a self levelling compound - I had some left over from another test - The water was mixed 4 to 1 with SBR and the old concrete was primed with 4 to 1 SBR. Not scientific but I have whacked the test concrete with a sledge hammer and nothing moved but of course it may crack in the future.

Hello I have just joined the forum and live in Suffolk. Before joining I have browsed the forums seeking ideas for the best way to lay a very thin screed on an outside patio and have even done some test mixes of Grano dust, cement, soft sand, SBR etc etc
