Hi there, I'm just in the process of having the services put in. I am having gas put in, but don't intend to use it straight away . Cadent have given me a meter reference number. My question is, do i need to have a meter installed even though i wont be using gas straight away. I was hoping cadent would connect to the mains and cap it off in the meter cupboard until required . Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Merv

Hello there, Just tried a quick search for another supplier I've seen on the internet, https://www.drainagesuperstore.co.uk/. Prices look good, has anyone dealt with them ?. The prices are coming up 50% cheaper then the local building merchants . Thanks Merv

Hi, Thanks for the replies and the advice . I forgot to say its about 10m from the water main to my boundary and I wasn't intending having a sprinkler system so ill just go with the 25mm supply. Thanks ToughButtercup for the heads-up about the search system, great resource ? Thanks Merv

HI all, I'm doing a self build 3 bed Bungalow in Rotherham, I've been lurking for a while and trying read through previous topics. Had some good advice already from a couple of members. Just in the process of getting the services in. The water company have told me I will be getting a 25mm supply up to my boundary, and I can lay either 25mm or 32mm supply up to the bungalow. I was just wondering if there is any advantage laying 32mm, its 32m from the boundary to the bungalow. Thanks for any advice. Merv
