Reference method for installed wall service void

Hi all

 

I was wondering what the most appropriate reference method for a cable installed in this manner. The image shows a top down cross section. There is a 20mm service void at the back of a 100mm stud wall (80mm PIR). 
 

Is there a better way to install the cable here?
