Paint Removal from Exterior brickwork

Hi,

The exterior of my house had layers of paint covering the brickwork. I have removed it with PeelAway but have been left with a grey layer, I think it was cement based paint that will not come off. I cannot remove it with a power washer or sand blast as the bricks are not good enough ( a person on my street done this and the bricks are very damaged. Does anyone know the best type of head I can  get for a drill/ angle grinder or some machine to remove it and get the bricks smooth?
