RANT RANT RANT.

By the way to all who read this topic, I plan on phasing out all Mushrooms from my shop bought vegan burgers by next Tuesday. If you want any more information on this endeavour you can get it directly from me at the Feckless Moron Show at the NEC next week. I'll have the booth right next to the Chancellor

So he is totally phasing out fossil fuel from our electricity grid by then is he?

Until that happens, my ASHP cannot claim to be 100% "renewable"

But the grid is moving in the direction of being fossil free (and has been for short intervals in Scotland recently) whereas if a new build got an oil or LPG boiler in 2026 it'd likely still be a fossil burner in 2036 or 2046.

As well as the electricity/CO2  question I was wondering about backup for new off grid development. Are they going to have to burn renewable biomass (wood) for heating backup?
